The Voice in Joe’s Ear

Where's the money Joe says as he openly laughs in our faces.
Why Joe, we think you stashed it away in a myriad of places.
It might take a few years to retrace your criminal tracks.
You might think you're so clever, or someone's got your back.
You should keep it in mind Joe, your son Hunter smokes crack.
Your defence might be, you can't recall what you've done.
But your partner in crime is a dope fiend and he's really spun.
With a long look at reality, and a handful of crystal persuasion.
He would sell out his father at the first opportune occasion.
If the DOJ and the FBI weren't both at your beck and call.
You can bet just like Humpty-Dumpty, you'd take a big fall.
Do you think you'll escape prosecution, that no one will roll.
Your's is a family of traitors, who have all sold their souls.
Haven't you learned from the Clintons, how problems disappear.
Your time's running out as your day of reckoning nears.
It might not be only Hunter, with a bad concience to kill.
I don't know what I'd do in your place, it must be living Hell.
Who the hell can you trust, you can't expect them to trust you.
Looking out for yourself is your specialty, they know it too.
Everyone in your family is thinking they'll make the first move.
Their unsolicited confession, you may find hard to disprove.
I know I'm just your personal demon, whispering in your ear.
But seriously Joe, I think your only option is make them disappear.
Take my advice Joe, bury them deep, don't leave anyone alive.
Hire someone you can trust, if you really want to survive.
