THE SUMMERTIME BLUES

Stupid people of the world, it’s time to unite.
The world ends Tuesday, a week from tonight.
The Sun is on fire, we’re burning alive.
That’s most every day, from noon until five.
The air is sizzling, birds burst into flames.
It ain’t no joke, Ma Nature doesn’t play games.
Fires are bigger, they’re out of control.
Get off your high horse, pray for your soul.
The icecaps are melting, we’re all gonna drown.
Run for the hills, get the hell outta town.
The signs are everywhere, it feels like summer.
Droughts in the deserts, boy what a bummer.
Get you some coppertone, cover your a*s.
The sun’s moving slower, takes all day to pass.
Nights have grown warmer, it’s harder to sleep.
From Donald Trump, we don’t hear a peep.
Brown outs are rolling, crossing the land.
What is it about heatwaves, you don’t understand.
Ice cubes are melting much faster it seems.
In my neighbors house, I hear panicked screams.
He’s a woke idiot, he’s watching fake news.
He sucks in their lies, with way too much booze.
He runs around screaming like his hair is on fire.
Help us Joe Biden, our situation is dire.
Hurry up with your reset, cool down the sun.
While you’re at it, take all our guns.
Take all our freedom, for our own good.
You’re our only last hope, I’m knocking wood.
It’s a climate emergency, you are the man.
We can’t wait for winter, nobody can.
Subvert our rights, seize even more power.
It can be known as your most worthless hour.
