There once was a time when Americans respected the law.
When we didn't have commie BS crammed down our craws.
When debates weren't a big joke, moderated by fools.
When our children were happy just being children at school.
A time when drag queen story hour was a sick, evil plot.
To rob parents of their children and create brainwashed bots.
There once was a time, when some politicians were honest.
When they actually made an effort to fulfill a promise.
When justice was applied equally, without being biased.
When receiving a fair trial was very seldom denied us.
There was a time when lawfare was an unknown term.
Instead of an assault to make political enemies squirm.
There once was a time when income tax didn't even exist.
Now government paupers us, making it harder to subsist.
There was a time when we guarded our southern border.
Now we suffer a daily invasion by the armies of Morder.
When we allow alien criminals, to take over our streets.
Why do we prevent our police from patrolling their beats.
There once was a time when politicians actually cared.
Before the big donor money bought votes no expense spared.
A time when americans worked hard for our share of the pie.
Now we're told be happy with nothing and don't dare ask why.
Time was a patriot meant something, a reason to be proud.
Now it's cause for our government to see that we're cowed.
There was a time when God and country went hand in hand.
Now it's government comes first and we'd best understand.
When our voices were respected, Freedom of Speech held sway.
Instead of a leftist hellhole that strips our free speech away.
We can't trust our cherished institutions, who spread the big lie.
They're creating the dire situation on which our Republic will die.
