I think of today, then I worry about tomorrow,
I can't be happy with a heart full of sorrow.
It's hard surviving alone, it's hard to succeed,
on a hardscrabble existence without what I need.
Government takes care of aliens, ignores you and me,
I can't help but be angry, I see what I see.
I don't see global warming, I see the gaslighting,
I see political hacks, I see constant infighting.
I see their nests being feathered, mine being robbed,
I see their bank accounts filling, I see criminal slobs.
I see my savings are gone, I see my empty hands,
I hate resorting to begging to fulfill my real demands.
I give thanks for my church, it does what it can.
I give thanks to my Savior for his blessed plan.
I see millions of others in the same predicament,
Who see our govt.making sure our futures misspent.
With my health quickly failing, I count on others more,
With no family to count on, it really sucks being poor.
I ask my bee friends, to remember me in your prayers,
I thank you for your encouragement and for how you care.
