Making It Up as I Go

Making mountains from molehills,
making heroes from zeroes.
If it's evil it sells,
we elect modern day Nero's
Confusing sh*t and shinola,
spinning truth into lies.
Praising fake men named Lola,
with Barby Doll eyes.
Good isn't good, bad isn't bad,
American's used to be happy,
now we're happy with crappy,
isn't that sad.
Common sense is senseless,
our lives become chaos.
Anyone speaking truth,
the message is lost.
Can one hand wash the other,
when both hands are dirty.
Can we tell brother from brother,
when it's zero dark thirty.
Sold down the river,
or a victim of knavery.
Men with lillylivers,
are icons of bravery.
That isn't this, this isn't that,
it's all part of the pronoun trap.
Young minds forcefed crap.
In this world, right where it's at.
Words become lies,
lies are just words.
Fake tears wept from dry eyes,
we applaud the absurd.
A mishmash of nonsense,
is the law of the land.
In our own defence,
we love to grandstand.
If monkey's were bats,
they'd fly out our butts.
The world's been infected,
by nutjobs and nuts.
