Why sacrifice a fine reputation, and put yourself on the spot.
It must be true,  big money talks and self-respect walks.
Big money changes opinions, tongues loosen and squawk.
Money is the root of all evil, behind countless lies.
Weak souls will be sold, why should we be surprised.
With so much money available, just name your price.
Four or five million, perhaps ten million would suffice.
It's all easy money if you have something to offer.
You could even be paid from the treasury's coffers.
They will even provide the lies, they want you to say.
If you're in bed with the devil, that's how you play.
Everythings up for sale, if the price offered is right.
It used to go down in alleys, now it's done in plain sight.
Money buys silence, or it can compromise speech.
It can turn a once honest man into a bloodsucking leech.
With trillions of dollars, what won't a bad government do.
They'll turn truth into lies, we all know it, it's nothing new.
It's acquiescing to Satan, aka selling your eternal soul.
Casting aside your principles, fulfilling evil men's goals.
