Red and Blue

The big cities are blue, the countryside's red.
Red areas are thriving, the cities are dead.
The Cities are power-mad, they want it all.
They want our resources at their beck and call.
They scoff at our needs, mocking our views.
We think for ourselves, they watch fake news.
They want us off our land, crammed into cities.
Living in squalor, everything dirty and shi*ty.
I think it's jealousy, they covet our freedom.
That's why we're treated like ignorant scum.
I think they should stay right where they are.
Before they have gone, one step too far.
Jealousy begets violence, hate and greed.
They always want a lot more than they need.
We feed them, clothe them, it's never enough.
They're never happy, always wanting our stuff.
They ruin our lives, we leave them alone.
They like to spy and listen in on our phones.
They want us to have nothing so we will be equal.
That's what's behind they're stupid new deal.
They've ruined the cities, that was their goal.
They want to turn the country into a sh*thole.
Happy with nothing? stick that up your a*s.
Repair your damaged cities and give us a pass.
Stay on the freeways and stay off our lands.
We live in "fly over country", don't like demands.
Breathe in your smog, wallow in your filth.
Quit robbing the country of our hardearned wealth.
We have the resources, you keep all the fools.
We have morals, you have groomers in schools.
Stay in your blue cities, we'll remain in the red.
As our money and resources are constantly bled.
