The Crisis

Theres a crisis on our border, theres a crisis in D.C.
Theres a crisis in America, if we can't trust what we see.
Theres a tendency to gaslight and a tendency to cheat.
A tendency to stifle voices that stand up to their deceit.
We're afficted with decrepitude, in the highest places.
With dishonorable politicians brazenly lying in our faces.
We're taxed into oblivion, OUR NEEDS are never met.
We used to be folks of substance, now we drown in debt.
WE THE PEOPLE have no power, we're subjects of the state.
At the stroke of a pen our rights are stolen without debate.
We're talked down to by a puppet, a traitor to his oath.
A usurper of his power, the whole world's grown to loathe.
Theres no honesty in government, we hear litanies of lies.
Whatever spin fits the occasion, or whichever bulls**t flies.
Theres a crisis in our schools, parents are disrespected.
Children are endarkened, their educations are neglected.
Theres a crisis in communication, the truth is never heard.
The MSM works for the state, don't believe a single word.
Theres a crisis in our courts, justice is no longer served.
The innocent are guilty, crooks don't get what's deserved.
There's a crisis in our republic, with democrat hypocrisy.
Blaming others for their destruction of democracy.
If there's a time to turn to God, that time is surely now.
It's time to renew our covenants and repledge our vows.
