I have my religion, they came and they mocked it. I have a pet monkey, they came and they shocked it I spoke to the truth, they were afraid and denied it, I assured them I never lied, they quickly implied it. I told them I'm not Woke, they called me a facsist. I said I'm not a pervert, they called me a masochist. I mocked their CRT, that meant I was a racist. I said I was conservative, I wound up on a blacklist. I said I believed in God, they said I was insane. I deny global warming, they look at me with disdain. I say what I think, they never like what I say. They see me coming, wishing I'd just go away. I speak out against evil, they glare daggers at me. I point out the left's fallacies, they will never agree. I open my mouth, I'm instantly denied my free speech. My pleas are ignored no matter how I beseech. I say Joe Biden's a fool, they claim I'm destroying democracy. I call them two-faced liars, I'm accused of hypocrisy. I say Biden speaks nonsense, they get in my face. I say they're afraid of the truth, they need their safe space. I say they're headed to Hell, in that they take pride. I say God will forgive them, I hear "God's on the wrong side. I say your path leads to doom, they say "Why do you care" I say "I fear for your souls" I get more evil glares. I say why won't you listen, I'm told to kick rocks. I say I speak to salvation, they say money talks bullsh*t walks. I hand them a Bible, it's quickly thrown in the trash. They say if you want us to listen, next time bring cash. I turn and walk away slowly, I hear mocking laughter. I hear someone yell, you can keep your hereafter. My eyes fill with tears, I weep for their lost souls. I fear they've been endarkened against my Savior's goals. D.L. Crockett -- 3/31/23
