Thoughts of Jill

Why was everyone laughing, was Joe the butt of a joke.
This seemed to happen every time he misspoke.
She heard guffaws and titters, some snickered away.
She'd have them arrested, she would have her way.
Joes feelers were hurting, his butt pained him too.
He looked to his mommy to ask her what to do.
Sadly she watched him, her poor, pitiful Joe.
She knew he was coming down from the blow.
Some times she felt guilty, but she loved the power.
15 minutes of fame had become countless hours.
She smiled at Joey, she blew him a big kiss.
She had to let Joey know how much he was missed.
Good thing for his pro-pants, they caught it all.
She wondered what joey was hearing inside his skull.
She knew Barack wasn't happy when Joey screwed up.
He was an arrogant bas*ard, one ignorant schlup.
She saw Joey dithering, he'd forgot where he was.
This always happenened, coming off a good buzz.
Joe looked lost and confused, she held back a laugh.
Someone would surely feel her righteous wrath.
She always deferred to Obama, he scared her to death.
It was him who suggested getting Joe strung out on meth.
She felt a sharp twinge of guilt, instantly it was gone.
She'd drag her Joe off the stage and they'd carry on.
She never worried what Joe thought, Joe wasn't aware.
She'd go on abusing him because she didn't care.
This was her time in the limelight, her chance to shine.
She was fulfilled with the power feeling almost divine.
